minutes, it's a quite stunning statement of discontent. Fans of the

concessions made here, with 'You Have a Theory, I Have a Gun' and
'Belief in God is So Adorable' being about as gloriously uncommercial a
pair of singles as you're likely to hear all year, while closing track
'I Hate Our Freedom (Fuck You Gladys, I'm on Vacation)' is the kind of
claustrophobic headfuck that will leave you nursing a migraine for days
after one too many listens...

There are only a few days left to register your objection to the 'Pay as

We need someone who loves music more than they love their mother, is well organised, is full of great ideas, has shit loads of energy, and is willing to work alongside the Captains of Industry rabble! We want you to recruit and manage our street teams (we already have many in place) and organise the campaigns. At times we may also need help with recruiting bands and labels. You can work from home so you will need an internet connection and a mobile. It doesn't need to be full time just yet so you could fit it round other commitments, such as part-time/freelance work, or studying...

An Emergency cancel shows....
A note from the band:
We've had to pull out of the majority of our short tour this month, cancelling shows in London, Kingston, Leeds, Manchester and Oxford. As we mentioned in our last update, this is due to a death in the family of one of AEs members. We're sorry to anybody who may have been coming out to see us, as well as the promoters but hope you can understand.
We're planning on playing our Exeter show and also the show at the Dublin Castle at the end of the month. As far as we know the shows we have pulled out of are still going ahead so get down there to check out some incredible bands. We're gonna try and re-schedule a tour for July/August so watch this space...

A quick update on the life of Marmaduke Duke.
The Duke's latest installment, originally told in the Homeric oral tradition, has been translated into music by his hirsute earthly representatives, The Dragon and The Atmosphere. It goes by the name of 'Duke Pandemoium' and features nine pieces of music, each vastly different from one another. Sample titles includes 'Silhoettes', 'Pink Rubber Lover' and 'Everybody Dance'.
Expect to see a single before the album.

Louie signed to a major record label shortly after the release of their debut single 'Trees' on Cpatains Of Industry. Their new single 'The Curves And The Bends' is released on the 6th March (today!) on Fallout Records. The CD comes a new track called 'Young Evil Souls' and the transparent blue vinyl 7' is backed with another new one called 'Down The Honey Pot'

Marmaduke Duke: the quest continues...
The second installment of Marmaduke Duke’s trilogy, Duke Pandemonium, is near to completion. A vast departure from their The Magnificent Duke debut in sound, style and structure, it’s a funk-filled twisted pop opus. Marmaduke Duke have been rumoured to feature members of Sucioperro Biffy Clyro. Expect a single preceding the album…and some tour dates. Those who saw the band play their first ever shows late 2005 will know special they are live. The Duke himself is currently in Eastern Europe on a fact-finding mission.

The Illegal Movers have taken their riotous punkpoppowerduelux to the
sunny shores of España as the guests of the awesome Los Chicos. The geordie punk quartet have already had a massive response from Spanish radio stations and first shows suggest that Spanish punks appreciate their knuckle dragging, guitar shredding escapades. Needless to say with a line up of The Movers and Los Chicos the bars will be drained and mayhem will ensue.

Kinesis have split up - on the day 'You Are Being Lied To' is released.They released the following statement before dispersing to the four corners of the earth to persue various charitable, political, musical and educational projects: "Five years after having performed, Kinesis are no more.
