Captains Of Industry

is a loosely connected organisation of like-minded writers, musicians, artists, poets, publishers, record labels, producers, fanzines and other deviants of the artistic / altruistic process. Through a simple shared philosophy the collective aims to share resources and provide cross-cultural reference points in order to aid creative output and spread a message of opposition to those who misuse their positions of power - be they artistic, economic or political.

THE LINE FROM A-B
10 Tracks. Available NOW.
CDA  £3.00 (RRP £10.99)

In true Fugazi-inspired style TEAM wrote, recorded, financed, produced and mixed 'The Line From A - B' themselves, this time on a stud farm in deepest darkest Leicestershire. The striking artwork was done by their in-house designer Fraser West. One day they called their label Captains Of Industry and said; 'It's ready, come and get it!”.
Recorded in a blood-flecked pig shed in summer 2004, debut album 'The Penalyn LP' (Sept 05) received acclaim in Kerrang!, Rock Sound, Metal Hammer, DrownedInSound, airplay on Radio 1 and XFM etc. For fans of: Queens Of The Stone Age, Fugazi, Biffy Clyro.

The Line From A-B picks up from where their previous offering, The Penalyn LP, left off: their rock is bruised but unbowed, able to battle its way out of any corner a harder-hitting heavyweight may put it in.
DROWNED IN SOUND

The onslaught of precise and intelligently dispatched energy and static is unrepentant, and songs like the devastating ‘Dead Sharks’, or the tour de force that is ‘Punk Rock Motors’ drive home the ground covered between ‘The Penalyn L.P’ and ‘The Line From A-B’. TEAM’s wings have been stretched and this is their suckerpunch.
