The debut album from Suciperro is a pounding and joyous release from the Ayrshire four piece. A deftly delivered mix of alt rock energy, spikey guitars and emotionally powerful vocals. Random Acts Of Intimacy lives up to it's name with every song coming from a place deep inside the bands psyche.
Sing out loud pop melodies sit perfectly at home with tender moments of raw emotion. This is a band who live through their music and Random Acts Of Intimacy invites you to live it too.
Uplifting music for a world ever darker, like rain in the desert defying the tide of sand.
TRUST WILL BRING ME HOME.
About the band:
From the seaside town of Ayr (also home to both Robert Burns and Biffy Clyro), Sucioperro are The Dragon (vocals/guitar), The Big Slice (bass/vocals), The Farmer (guitar) and The Welshman (drums). They have played with the likes of Jetplane Landing, Hell Is For Heroes, Aereogramme, Fightstar, Brigade and The Delgados. Oh, and Deacon Blue.
Some of you may know Sucioperro as coming from the same clan as fellow Captains Of Industry noiseniks Marmaduke Duke.
There's something in the water up there. Fans of Foo Fighters, The Police, Jimmy Eat World should pay particular attention to their abrasive/tender, pop/metal schizo tendencies.
Sucioperro is pronounced "sooch-ee-oh-perro" and is Spanish for "dirty dog" or "dirty bitch"
